Henry Macfarlan- Assighnment 14

My thanksgiving tradition involves going to my grandparents house.  My dad's family lives entirely in new jersey, while my mom's family lives mostly in kentucky.  She has 4 siblings and most live in kentucky, but the others spread across the country from california to maryland.  However every other year they all come to lexington to celebrate at my mother's parents house.  On the other years we go to New Jersey to visit my dad's family.  It is an 11 hour drive, which at times can be painful, and while it would be much easier to fly and most of us would rather, it has become a tradition in its own to spend these long car rides together, even when it seems like the opposite of bringing a family together.  But no matter where we are, thanksgiving is generally a simple, starting with congregating in the early afternoon just after lunch time and ending late at night.
