Assignment 11- Usha Adhikari

This sounds like the most cliché thing ever and fits the Asian stereotype well, but hey, most stereotypes have a hint of truth to them. The thing that probably scares me the most is disappointing my parents. My parents have given me a very blessed life and I owe everything to them. I am beyond grateful for everything they have and will do for me and I want to make their life as stress-free and easy going as possible.  As for other fears, I fear heights, the slight chance of being able to fall off at high heights scares me. Once, I had a panic attack at one of those rope obstacles that they have. They had three different floor levels and even though I knew I wasn’t going to fall, it was still scary. You can see the ground below you and slip off the obstacle, and even though you were attached to the structure with your belt, you felt as if you were going to fall to your death for a slight second and I cannot handle that kind of anxiety.  One of the workers had to come and get me from the first level, first obstacle. The look on his face said “not one of these again.”
