Assignment 14 - Christian Lauritzen

My typical Thanksgiving has a lot of people at it.  My grandparents have been getting more and more infirm as of late, so they can no longer drive from their small town in Tennessee up to our house to have Thanksgiving, so we always go down South to see them and their massive family.  We all gather at my Aunt and Uncle's nice wooden cabin as they prepare dinner.  We all enjoy time together around the 4 different plastic tables put together to host the 2 dozen people we have over and eat one of three different turkeys and dozens of side dishes.  It is generally an enjoyable occasion with all of my extended family talking about how I've grown so much and asking me why my hair is blonde and pestering me about a whole slew of things.  My most memorable Thanksgiving was when my Uncle invited his mother who had dementia.  While this may seem mean, watching my Uncle get angry while she repeatedly told her grandson how much she loved him and also flirting with all the younger guys was hilarious.
