Assignment 11: Naylan James

If a zombie apocalypse ever were to occur, the first thing I'd be sure to do is find every family of mine  who lived, to insure I have help. Next I would gather every bit of food I could find, because I know I would probably do nothing but hide and eat. A "search for a cure" would be completely out of the question, because I absolutely hate the idea of having to approach a zombie. I'd probably do something like the black guy in The Walking Dead; I'd just hide in some house or something and basically just snipe all the zombies and try to last as long as I can in seclusion. I would probably do the exact opposite of Rick and his crew, I would never start human wars. What's the point in creating even more enemies for yourself when you already have to fight dead people. Honestly, if you just hide for 2 or 3 years, eventually all of the zombies will completely decompose and wouldn't be able to walk and herd and chase you down. So you could just quickly make your way down to Florida and find some yacht or speed boat and boat out to an island with a healthy supply of food. If you bring enough extra gas and food, you could occasionally make trips back to land to get more food. If I were to ever get caught by a hoard of zombies, I'd have to kill myself. I can't imagine how painful it would be to get bit and ripped apart.
