Assignment 14: Dylan Ruddy

Usually on Thanksgiving weekend, my moms side of the family all travel up to Pennsylvania, to her sisters house. Everyone spends the entire break here together talking and enjoying the time together. During this time all of the cousins go to a separate room of the house and play board games and watching old Christmas movies. They are all the same every year, even the bad ones. On thanksgiving the other side of my aunts family comes over at nine o'clock-ish. We eat dinner at around one o'clock. Everybody brings a dish so by the end of it there is a ton of food. Not much of I goes to waste however as there are about thirty people at the house eating it. At around feverish  the other side of my aunts family leaves. The days that follow include the annual NERF gun war, trip to the candy store, trip to an Amish candy store, trip to the old house where my mom grew up. Someone is always more than happy to go to get hot pretzels at a local store. Almost the entire family of semi-gluten intolerant so you can imagine how that goes. There is alway a walk around the local college campus, and a walk to get coffee in the morning. In recent years, on of my cousins bought rip sticks and we all learned how to "Rip It" and we say. The best part about the whole trip is that I am the youngest and the cousins I am talking about range in age from their twenties to mid-thirties so they are all just reverting back to childhood for five days out of the year.
