Assignment 13- Taylor Hodges

School is useless. I'm never going to need anything I've learned in life. Math? When am I ever going to add or divide anything? Never. That's stupid. History? That has already happened so there's no point in learning about it. It's never happening again. Stop bringing up the past. Chemistry? I'm NEVER going to need to know what makes up salt, or why baking soda reacts with vinegar, or what sulfate is. It will not help me in life whatsoever. And worst of all, English. When am I ever going to need to know how to make a correct sentence or know what the parts of a sentence are? Never. That's when I'll use it. I'm never going to need to know what an adjective is in life outside of school. There's no point in forcing people to go through all this schooling because they're never going to use it in real life. So why waste their time learning this instead of allowing them to go off and do something that's useful? Like playing sports. They could practice all the time and then make a career at it. That's more useful of their time than going through 7 hours of nothing.
