Assignment 6- Colton Warner

Prompts: If you could be a master at any subject, what would it be, why, and how would you use it? You are restricted to living in one place you have never been before for a year of your life- you can't leave or bring anything or anyone. Where would you choose and why? Describe a time that you never wanted to end.

I choose number 2- You are restricted to living in one place for a year of your life- you cannot leave the place nor bring anything or anyone with you. Where would you choose and why?

I like this question because it gives me a new start and releases me from all of the chaos in normal day life. I think my top choices would would be: a seaside cabin in Nova Scotia, a monastery in Bhutan, a mountain chalet in the alps, a beach bungalow in Hawaii, or a rural sheep farm in New Zealand.
I think I would go with living in a rural cabin on the coast of Nova Scotia (or Acadia) because life up there just seems so peaceful and simple. I went last summer to a remote island in Nova Scotia, and every day, fog (my favorite weather) rolled in across the beach as the sun rose. I would get coffee and sit down in a cozy room and read. There was no TVs or WiFi, so I just sat there in the mornings present, actually living. The rest of the day, I hiked to different coves, boated (row and motor) to hidden beaches, and even swam to small islands. I would want to own and work at some bakery in the morning through noon then go explore and learn about the lives of people around me and the life of the nature around me. I like to daydream about a life like this, and maybe I'll do it one day if I get angry enough.
