Assignment 5- Caroline Couch

I would say that I watch TV but rarely anything but Netflix because in the little amount of time that can watch TV I would like to watch without commercials. Often I watch TV while I'm doing homework that doesn't require my full attention for example I can do APUSH homework while watching TV and also anatomy. TV provides me with a good source of entertainment, since I have little to no time with school and soccer when I get to watch TV I use it as mostly a time for relaxation and reflection. Though when I watch college football I'm frustrated and disappointed by the amount of commercials and with their entire goal trying to sell their product or company to you. 

Depending on the show it can be a Waste of time if it is a show like "that 70's show", "castle", and "Friends" my dad would argue otherwise but it's not a waste of time to me. These days they put much more of an emphasis on Grammys and celebrity gossip when the important things like the winners of the Nobel prize are hardly acknowledged, this angers me and makes me wonder what are society will be like later.
