Assignment 2- Usha Adhikari

Technology.
The word seems to have a bad connotation these days, especially among the elders, "Those damn phones! Back in my day we actually talked to each other". But Technology has not only changed communication, it has changed just about every aspect of life. From advanced cancer treatment machines to the ezpass, a scanner used in many schools buses (including the buses in Fayette County) that confirm a student's bus stop while recording the time they left the bus. The future of technology holds so many possibilities, I don't even know where to begin. From stem cell research to atomic nuclear research, technology is the key to expanding science. In the next couple of decades, science is expected to advance greatly, especially in things such as stp research and radioactive chemicals. As far as daily, household use, maybe we will see holographs soon? That would be cool, being somewhere, without actually being there. I look forward to seeing where technology takes us, although I fear the day when dangerous technology reaches the hands of an idiot. I guess we will find out when that happens, If it happens.
