Assignment 3- Usha Adhikari

Good v.s. Evil.
I definitely do not believe in absolute good, no way Jose. Yes people can be good, but not at all times. Honestly, I think it would be boring if people were all good. How can you learn what is bad if you only know of good? And Vise versa. Although I think it's important for people to be more good than bad, it can be hard to distinguish between what is good and what is bad. When it comes to things like what Leah Kleppinger did, that was clearly a good thing. But when it comes to things such as giving a known homeless druggie money, is that good or bad? On one side, if you believe in the good of people, you might think that they will use that money productively, to buy things such as food or using that money towards finding shelter. On the other side, if you believe in the "bad" and math (aka probability), you might think that the money will go towards drugs and that you are just doing the man more harm than good. It all depends on one's morals and where they draw the line on good vs bad. As for me? I believe in Math.
