Assignment 3- Caroline Couch

Going to church and being raised as a catholic you would think that yes I would believe in an absolute good and evil but no I don't abide by the classic stereotypes I do not believe in an absolute good and evil I still believe that even the people that we find to be the worst people have some good in them. We think that even though they do all those things, we are designed to think that they have little to no good in them because one bad thing can then define whether you are then placed into the 2 categories of good and bad. but in fact there is more to us than all of the bad or good things we have done. Let's take a story of how 2 burglars stopped a pedophile or how a man with over 80 convictions saved a woman's life or even how a homeless former criminal saves a police officer from attack. I would like to believe that there is an absolute good but the fact is that we are all people and being the imperfect humans we are we make mistakes. I feel as though there is more from for the gray area because I do believe that everyone has the capability to do good or bad things. And I also would argue that you cannot separate good from evil because they come in a pair.
