Colton Warner- 26

First off I really enjoyed when you went on tangents and taught us relevant interesting things. I think that sort of teaching is effective and helps stimulate kids into wanting to  learn  (the most important part of education). I did not feel that the writing with style was as effective of a learning tool as something else, but I also don't really have another concrete resolution, so that's harder.  Although I sometimes dreaded the essays and grading, but I did get better at writing with them. The most effective piece of the class for me was the multiple choose practice tests- I got significantly better at the tests over the year and it helped me on the act as well. I really enjoyed the Socratic seminars, but I didn't love the grading of the seminars. The pieces of literature were eye opening and a joy to read. I think analyzing prompts and quickly coming up with theses may be a good activity if you could make it collaboratvive or like a bell ringer. I'm writing this at dinner so excuse the no-no words that make it less clear
