I listen to many different types of music. But if I had to choose one genre overall, it would be classic rock. This is why my "Homework" playlist is filled with this genre. Classic rock is better than say rap while doing homework because you don't have to concentrate all your energy on the tiny and rapid lyrics, instead able to fully understand the meaning without diverting too much time from your calculus packet. Start Me Up by The Rolling Stones starts off the playlist with an up beat song to get you ready to accomplish any feat necessary. Juke Box Hero by Foreigner would be next, adding the variety of slow and slightly mellow rhythm with the powerful story of hard work. Buddy Holly by Weezer adds a stark contrast after that, implementing a more modern take on what really is "classic rock" while still continuing with the rock and roll aspect, with intelligent lyrics. Hooked on a Feeling by Blue Swede is next, followed by God's Gonna Cut You Down by Johnny Cash.
