I think
it’s safe to say junior year has been a roller coaster ride for everyone. It
has definitely been the most stressful year of high school, but also the most
fun. Have there been disappointments? Definitely. The biggest for me is
spending 2/3 of the year preparing for GSA, only to not make it. But there has
also been good. Like how much I have improved as an oboist because of my dedication
for said GSA auditions, among other things. As has happened at the end of each
year of high school thus far, I look back at where this year started and see
how much I have grown. Hopefully I will continue to grow senior year (for
example, my time management aka not procrastinating could still use some work).
Senior year will not be stress free by any means, but I hope it will be one filled
with fun experiences and amazing memories. No one can predict what will happen
in the coming year, but one thing’s for certain: many tears will be shed.
