Assignment 23: Caden Reynolds

Music has had a significant influence on my life, I can't remember the last day I have not listened to music. I would say I listen to a wide variety of music. From hip-hop, classic rock, rap, and even country. Today I am going to make a "chill" playlist for times when I just want to feel good.

Post Malone- Go Flex
Post Malone- Candy Paint

Post Malone can be referred to as a "rapper" but in reality a lot of his songs are a lot more "melo" and these two songs exemplify that perfectly. I have only recently started listening to him more but I have taken a strong liking to him, so these two songs would begin this playlist.

Kodak Black- Too Many Years

I enjoy Kodak's music, but I would usually listen to it when I am banging out some tunes in the car with some friends or just trying to get in a hype mood. This song is probably the exception because it has less of a "rap" feel to it rather it. I think it puts me in a happy mood, not necessarily because of the lyrics because they are kinda sad, but mostly because of the melody and beat.

Kanye West- Lost in the World
Kanye West- Devil in a New Dress

I have a real appreciation from Kanye's music and would have put more of his music in here if I could have done more than 10 songs. Runaway, Lost in the World, and Devil in a New Dress are all in his album called "My Beatiful Dark Twisted Fantasy." Which is personally my favorite album, barely beating out "Graduation" and "College Dropout". The other song, "Real Friends" is part of his latest album called "The Life of Pablo". Personally, I think it is one of his worse albums, nonetheless, Real Friends is a great song for a chill playlist. I think Kanye makes me in a good mood when I am just 'chilling' better than any other artist, so these would be the songs in the middle of the playlist.

DJ Khalid- I'm the One

A new song, made by DJ Khalid featuring Justin Beiber, Lil Wayne, Chance the Rapper, and Quavo. Yeah Justin Beiber is kinda gay, big whoop wanna fight about it?

Chance the Rapper- Pusha Man
Chance the Rapper- Smoke Again

These two songs are both a part of his album called "Acid Rap". This is probably my favorite hip-hop album of all time. Chance has a different style than other rappers and I guess it appeals to me. So these two songs would definitely finish out this playlist for me.
