Assignment 25- Ben Lambert
Stress has never been something that has grasped my life. And I believe this is due to multiple reasons. For one, I am fortunate to have not been born with severe anxiety issues. Secondly, I have immediate family members who were not so fortunate, and seeing some of their breakdowns and impractical worryings have made me realize how little some things that people care about matter. The third reason, and the most important in my opinion, is confidence. Everyone that knows me is aware that I do not have any lack of confidence (sometimes a bit too much). My confidence in myself has helped me numerous times in confining my stress. I don't worry too much about my test scores and grades because I know what I know and what I am capable of. I don't have a 4.0 because I want to put it on my college application (although that is undoubtedly a bonus). I have it because I know I am capable of getting it, and so I push my self. High school does not dictate the test of your life. You do.
