Assignment 21: Dylan Ruddy

Right now someone, somewhere in the world is starting an assignment that should have been started a long time ago. They prepare to stay up till 3am taking a short nap, chugging down caffeinated soda, and energy drinks. They lay out everything they need to start, and organize it nice, and because they have made this first step now feel entitled to watch just one more episode on Netflix before they start.

Somewhere in the world, a person is beginning to study for a final, laying out every scrap of paper from the year on the floor and trying to cram it all in. They wish they had a photographic memory, but they don't. They wish they started earlier, but they didn't.

Somewhere, right now, is realizing that time flies, things are over before they begin, and actions speak louder than words. They realize that saying you are going to start on key terms is not the same as starting them, and you can't get time back.

Somewhere, right now, someone is realizing that even dead people can be correct, like Charles Dickens when he said, "Never put off for tomorrow what you can do today."
