Assignment 24- Ben Lambert

Junior year has definitely been unique. It has had its fair share of ups and downs and everything in between. Successes from this year include maintaining good grades and test scores, but apart from the average school ordeals, my third year of high school has been intellectually and socially stimulating. I have developed new passions through school, including foreign languages and cosmology. This year taught me that it's okay to spend time learning something completely random (I.e. Black hole theories) instead of just focusing on the current unit in APUSH. That learning is not confined to the classroom, and one should never stop their expansion of knowledge. This year has also made my appreciate my friends more. Tough school weeks made me cherish the weekends more and the time I spend with my friends. That being said, not everything went well. School sucked and made me rethink my life plans about 17382 times. Second semester saw a bit of early senioritis and declining motivation. My grades dropped pretty significantly and have forced me to cram at the end of the semester. Often times when I get home now, my motivation has been robbed by school and so I spend 8 hours doing nothing, resulting in decreased productivity. With all that in mind, it can be concluded that junior year has its highs and lows.
