Assignment 26- Caroline Couch

For me personally the blogs have helped me with thinking outside the box and has helped me think of solutions to prompts that aren't so mainstream. When we read the sample essays in class you get overwhelmed by the vast majority of people saying the same thing, the blogs have helped with trying to find alternate answers to the problems that set your essay apart from the other students in the class. As for helping me prepare for the ACT I wouldn't say it did much although writing more does indeed help with reading comprehension and grammar like in the English section. I did very much enjoy that we did this for class, it encouraged me to think creatively which you don't always do in an APUSH class or a math class. You gave us prompts that pushed us out of our comfort zones where many students thrive, I myself do not but that's besides the point.
