Assignment 21- Quinn Andrews

At this moment, somewhere in the universe a girl is typing on her computer. She stares at the screen and types robotically, her elbow inches from knocking the now-cold coffee mug to the ground. Her dog is trying to steal a drink from inside the cup, long used to the taste of cold coffee. Music plays loudly in the background. Impenetrable by human voices, the violin music pulses through the air and sets vibrations through her chest. Nothing feels real, except for her typing-- twining intricate characters into elaborate plots. The music changed over and as the story drew to a close, the girl began to feel the world again. The blankets laying over her legs and the coffee cup at her elbow and her dog sleeping next to her, snoring lightly. It was a wonderful afternoon, and as her focus left her, fatigue made itself known. Setting her computer aside, she turned the music down and curled up on the couch and to take a nap.
