Somewhere in the universe there are entire societies full of conscious beings, that are going about their business just like us.  There may be many groups of beings completely unaware that there is other life in the universe just as we are.  Somewhere in the universe there may be another living being writing about the same thing, speculating about the universe.  The universe is so vast and broad, that it would be far from absurd to speculate that anything we could even guess is happening, is actually occurring somewhere.  The universe is infinite, that means that there are an infinite number of possibilities of things to be happening.  This becomes even more true when we consider the possibility of parallel universes.  If we include this theory in our speculation of the happening of the universe, then the probability of literally anything happening increases.  Under this logic, the entire plot of star wars could be playing out somewhere in the universe and we would have no idea
