Assignment 18- Quinn Andrews

1. Before I finish high school, I'd like to take a road trip. With a friend or by myself, I don't really care. I want to visit the Library of Congress, and drink tea as the sun rises on the beach. I want to see a Broadway show and visit the Manhattan Project Historical Park in Tennessee. I want to visit interesting places and experience being in charge of myself before I run off to college. 2. Before I finish college I want to study abroad. Specifically in Europe I would like to study in Scotland or France. Most of my family came from Scotland and the opportunity to live in a place with such a rich history would give me greater understanding of different people. If I studied in France or Switzerland I would be able to practice my french and live in a culture that while very similar to ours, is distinctive in its own right. 3. Before I die, I would like to experience all that I can. It's hard to make a bucket list of things I would like to do before I die because what I want to do now will not be the same as what I want to do in ten years or maybe even five years. People are constantly changing and to make a list of things to do before I die could make me miss out on other great experiences because I'm so focused on that list. I want to be happy and take every opportunity that I can. That's my only goal right now because while my goals for high school will not change by the time I leave, it is very likely they will change before I die, or even before I finish high school. Instead of obsessing over a single thing to do when I'm older, me biggest priority is to be happy.
