Assignment 4 Philip Allison

President Barack Obama and members of his national security team monitor the Navy SEALs raid that killed Osama bin Laden in 2011. It was a crucial moment in American history, and White House photographer Pete Souza captured the tension in the room. "It was probably one of the most anxiety-filled periods of time, I think, in the lives of the people who were assembled," counterterrorism adviser John Brennan later told reporters. A classified document on the table was obscured by the White House.

This is a picture of President Barack Obama and his National Security team watching the Navy SEAL team 6's raid on Osama Bin Laden in 2011. Bin Laden was responsible for countless deaths and acts of terrorism, and putting a stop to him and his terrorist followers was crucial. The people in this room are witnessing, or about to witness, the killing of Bin Laden. This picture captured the tension and drama of the whole event. It was a very important time in Obama's presidency. So important that the diagrams on the table have been obscured. Every single person in the room is concentrating hard at the unfolding event, except for the man with the computer, however even he is probably recording every action that is occurring. No one wants to take his or her eyes off the screen.
